From the transcript of the speech Larry O'Hara gave at the May Day 2000 conference in London, published in issue 3 of Notes From The Borderland:
...Another variation on the international rent a mob is the Scottish Metro [19/4/00 Anna Adams] on Lorenzo Komboa Ervin who has spoken at some of these meetings. Apparently 'Known terrorist has lived life of controversy'. [LAUGHTER] A gentle introduction to a sympathetic character profile, and as if that wasn't enough the picture caption stated 'Black activist Lorenzo Komboa Ervin (above), and an extremist during a riot (left)'. The connection is 'Fanatical, well funded and armed'. And of course this 'evil man' has actually made a trip to Dundee to hold a meeting about racism!
