Class War issue 80: Happy Shopper
Dear Class War,
Just a few lines to let you know how to get the latest CDs for the price of a blank tape.
At all HMV stores there is currently a "Guarantee of Satisfaction" and their publicity states: "We want you to be happy with everything you buy at HMV. If you are not happy with your purchase, please feel free to return it for an exchange or refund."
Buy the CD, record it and then simply return it to get your refund. It works - I tried it at HMV stores in Bond Street, Oxford Circus and Trocadero. They ask you to fill in a small form with your name, address and signature (easy to make up).
